The 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio will arrive in U.S. dealerships this summer with a starting price of $42,990.
Standard features include leather seats, a power liftgate, a backup camera, rear parking sensors, remote start with passive entry, push-button start, and 18-inch aluminum wheels. The Stelvio also comes equipped with a standard 2.0-liter turbo-four engine that produces 280 hp and 306 lb-ft of torque.
The base Stelvio is less expensive than the Jaguar F-Pace and Porsche Macan, which also feature standard four-cylinder engines. The F-Pace starts at $43,060 while the base Macan will set you back $48,850.
Buyers can opt for a $1,800 sport package to enhance the performance of the base Stelvio. A sport-tuned suspension, aluminum sport pedals, and steering column-mounted aluminum paddle shifters are just some of the updates this package affords.
Ahead of the base model is the Stelvio Ti, offering a host of extra creature comforts. Starting at $44,990, this model adds heated seats, genuine wood interior accents, an 8.8-inch widescreen entertainment and information display, SiriusXM, front park sensors, a heated steering wheel, and 19-inch wheels. A Ti Sport package upgrades to 20-inch wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, and 12-way power high-performance sport seats, while the Ti Lusso package brings unique Luxury Pieno Fiore Italian leather seats with Cannelloni inserts and other goodies.
Unfortunately, Alfa Romeo hasn’t announced pricing for the potent Stelvio Quadrifoglio, which features a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine producing 505 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. Both the base Stelvio and Stelvio Ti go on sale this summer in the U.S., but we’ll have to wait until later this year to find out the timing for the Quadrifoglio launch.
