Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6 Coming to SEMA

Hennessey has been busy teasing its Venom F5 supercar ahead of its debut at the 2017 SEMA Show, but that won’t be the only insane vehicle on display at the tuner’s booth. The VelociRaptor 6×6 is also scheduled to make an appearance at the big aftermarket show.

The conversion is available for 2017 and 2018 Ford Raptor F-150s and the price starts at $295,000. And we thought spending $100,000 on a Super Duty was a lot for a truck. At least the mega price tag includes a base Raptor. It also includes locking rear axles, an upgraded Fox suspension, beefy 20-inch wheels and off-road tires, custom front and rear bumpers, black roll bar, and big round LED lights.

“Our VelociRaptor 6×6 is pure aggression on wheels—all six of them,” said John Hennessey in a statement. “The new 2017 Raptor is going to be one of the best all-around trucks ever built. We are excited to help take it to the next level both in terms of performance and exclusivity.”

If you just want to upgrade the Raptor’s 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 without the extra set of wheels, Hennessey will sell you its VelociRaptor 600 upgrade, which takes output from 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque to 605 hp and 622 lb-ft, for a paltry $22,500.

Hennessey says the horsepower boost includes upgraded turbochargers, stainless steel exhaust modifications, a larger front mounted air-to-air intercooler and plumbing, and re-tuned factory computer.

Other optional goodies include Brembo front and rear brakes, even bigger wheels and tires, crazier LED lighting, a bespoke interior, and armoring systems. This thing is just asking for a role in the next Fast and Furious movie.
