FCA is recalling an estimated 99 minivans, 82 SUVs, and 16,549 Fiat 500e EVs for three separate issues. The minivan recall involves confirming the torque on fasteners that join the seatbacks and cushion frames for the third-row seats after a supplier notified the automaker that the tool used had been unintentionally set to deliver less fastening torque than the specified amount. Affected vehicles include 2016 Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country minivans. Four vehicles in Canada are subject to the recall.

An estimated 82 SUVs are also being recalled by FCA to replace their half-shafts because of an unintentional variation in the supplier’s manufacturing process. Only 2016 model-year Jeep Cherokees are affected. Outside of the U.S., two vehicles are affected in Canada and around 28 outside of North America.

The third recall announced by FCA involves the Fiat 500e EV, with an estimated 16,549 vehicles affected from the 2013 to 2016 model years. According to the automaker, certain vehicles are equipped with software that could misread operating conditions, causing the car’s powertrain to shut down. To solve the issue, service technicians will install the correct software to prevent the car from turning off. Only U.S.-spec 500e EVs are affected by the recall.
