For the 2016 model year, Kia is updating the K900 luxury flagship sedan with a refreshed look inside and out, an all-new V-6 powertrain, and added technology.
Offered in three models – V6 Premium, V6 Luxury, and V8 Luxury—the 2016 Kia K900 features a standard 3.8-liter V-6 engine that delivers 311 hp. Customers who opt for the V-6-powered models also receive standard navigation, leather seating, and a panoramic sunroof. All K900 models have new wheel designs, with the V6 models getting 18-inch wheels and the V8 Luxury model upgrading to 19-inch chrome wheels.
Exterior changes on all 2016 Kia K900 models include a revised front grille, along with a new rear end design that features updated chrome trim, exhaust pipes, a new taillight design, and a new bumper. The K900 also offers a Smart Power Trunk that automatically opens when the key fob is in proximity to the trunk for more than three seconds. Standard Smart Shift and Drive brings three powertrain settings to the K900, while autonomous emergency braking is optional.
Inside, the updated Kia K900 sports new paddle shifters available on all trim levels, and an improved navigation system linked to a 9.2-inch touchscreen with premium audio and UVO Luxury Services. The new UVO system has an embedded modem that allows direct communication to the vehicle for features like start/stop, remote climate control, and remote lock through the UVO app. The updated app will also feature My Car Zone, which includes Curfew, Speed, and Geofence settings.
