When the Ariel Atom-based Rezvani Beast was first announced, it was offered in 315-hp or 500-hp variants. Now, the Southern California-based company is offering the 700-hp Rezvani Beast X.
Based on the Atom’s tubular steel chassis, each model gains new carbon fiber bodywork. The new Beast X features revised aerodynamics and suspension tuning compared to the less powerful models. Aerodynamic upgrades include unique side wings for more downforce and a revised front and rear fascia. A new dual carbon fiber rear wing is said to reduce the drag coefficient and improve handling.
Like the Beast 300 and Beast 500, the Beast X features a mid-mounted Honda K24-based engine. In the Beast 300, the supercharged 2.4-liter inline-four is rated at 315 hp and 239 lb-ft of torque, while the Beast 500’s twin-charged (turbocharged and supercharged) 2.4-liter is rated at 500 hp and 427 lb-ft. The new Rezvani Beast X model’s K24 engine features a pair of Borg Warner high-performance turbochargers and an intercooler for a total of 700 hp at 7,350 rpm. This helps the Beast X hit 60 mph in a claimed 2.5 seconds. Transmission choices include a six-speed manual or an optional sequential automatic, and a limited-slip differential is standard.
The 700-hp Rezvani Beast X weighs just 1,850 pounds. Despite the additional power, the Beast X rides on the same 235/35/19 front and 295/30/19 rear tires. Customers can also specify Continental SportContact 5P or Toyo R888 tires.
Production of the street-legal twin-turbo 700-hp Rezvani Beast X is limited to just five examples around the world. The price? Just $325,000 each.
