The 2017 Nissan Pathfinder arrives in showrooms this week and the automaker has just released pricing for the updated three-row crossover. The base model 2017 Pathfinder S starts at $30,890 (including $900 destination fee), which is $160 more than last year, though the popular SV and SL models are cheaper than before.
As previously reported, the Pathfinder received minor styling updates, new safety features, and updated technology. Power comes from a direct-injected 3.5-liter V-6 rated at 284 hp and 259 lb-ft of torque, an increase of 24 hp and 19 lb-ft from the 2016 Nissan Pathfinder. A continuously variable transmission and front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive can be hand for an additional $1,690.
All 2017 Pathfinder models come standard with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, push-button start, 18-inch wheels, and Bluetooth connectivity. The Pathfinder SV starts at $33,580 ($470 cheaper than before) and adds a power-adjustable driver’s seat, rear parking sensor, automatic headlights, and leather-wrapped steering wheel. Jumping up to the Pathfinder SL requires $36,600, which is $710 cheaper than the 2016 model. The SL trim adds leather seats, power-adjustable front passenger seat, motion-activated power liftgate, a blind spot monitor, heated steering wheel, and heated front seats.
Finally, the Pathfinder Platinum is $260 more than before with a starting MSRP of $42,770. The Platinum comes loaded with navigation, Bose sound system, LED headlights, power-adjustable steering wheel, heated and cooled front seats, 20-inch wheels, and a forward collision prevention system.
