The 2017 Audi Q7 crossover equipped with a 3.0-liter V-6 engine will start at $55,750 when it goes on sale early next year. The price represents a significant $6,525 jump over the previous 2015 model paired with a 3.0-liter mill.
Standard features on the second-generation Q7 include power 50/50 split-folding third row seats, panoramic sunroof with tilt and sliding features, drive select, three-zone automatic climate control, and a safety system with automatic braking. These features are all available on the base Premium trim level. Stepping up to the mid-range Premium Plus, with standard Audi pre sense collision mitigation with traffic monitoring, brings the price up to $59,750. The top-of-the-line Prestige model starts at $65,250.
Options throughout the Q7 lineup include a full-head up display, 12.3-inch virtual cockpit display, a 23-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, and adaptive cruise control with stop & go traffic and traffic jam assist. Full LED headlights, as well as night vision assistant with pedestrian and animal detection, are available for the first time on the Q7.
The Audi Q7 will launch in the U.S. with a 3.0-liter TFSI engine rated at 333 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. The engine comes paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Thanks to the use of lightweight materials, the Q7 weighs 475 pounds less than its predecessor.
The V-6 powered 2017 Audi Q7 goes on sale at the beginning of 2016. A 252-hp 2.0-liter turbo-four version is expected to follow later that year.
