1 best of : 2017 Ram 1500 Gains Two New Limited-Edition Color Packages

Despite its name, the 2017 Ram Rebel doesn’t have to wear loud colors like red. Rebels can be had in more subdued shades, including the newly introduced Mojave Sand paint, which is paired with an all-black interior. In addition to the Rebel Mojave Sand package, Ram unveiled something on the opposite side of the color spectrum–Ignition Orange Sport.

Other additions to the Mojave Sand package include black decal accents on the hood. The all-black interior is also new to the Rebel, which normally comes in a two-tone black and red color scheme. The package is priced at $595 and doesn’t include any mechanical upgrades. Ram says it will limit the package to 1,500 units and plans to make it available by the end of the year. The Rebel can be had with the automaker’s 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6, or the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8.

Next up is the Ram 1500 Ignition Orange Sport, which costs $1,595. In addition to the bright orange paint job, the package includes black hood decals and black Ram badges on the hood and tailgate. Inside, “Copperhead” accent stitching is used throughout, and special embroidery is showcases on the seats and headrests. Ram is also limiting this package to 1,500 units and says it’ll be offered on Crew Cabs with a V-8 engine.
