2012-2014 Toyota Camry Transmission Issue

The problem: Affected cars may exhibit a brief, intermittent transmission shudder while driving under light loads between 25 and 50 mph. This is due to a combination of an engine control module software glitch and a faulty torque converter.

Corrective action: Dealers will replace the torque converter and update the ECM software.

Warranty info: This repair is being done under the Toyota powertrain warranty of five years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first.
