The problem: Drivers may notice the engine exhibiting reduced power and the engine misfiring, and they may have difficulty restarting the engine. This is due to a software glitch in the engine's operating system.
Corrective action: Dealers will update the Powertrain Control Module software with a new program that eliminates the problem.
Warranty info: This service bulletin is being performed free of charge under the new vehicle or extended warranty, whichever applies.
