2015-2016 Scion FR-S Idle Issue

The problem: The engine idle may fluctuate between 500 and 1,000 rpm when the gearshift is in Park or Neutral. The condition occurs after the vehicle has been driven at highway speeds for 25 or more miles. It is due to a glitch in the transmission control module software.

Corrective action: Dealers will update the TCM software with a new program to eliminate the condition.

Warranty info: This action will be done free of charge under Scion's new-vehicle limited warranty.
