Nissan has released pricing details for the single cab 2017 Titan and Titan XD with the base S trim starting at $30,775 and $32,285 respectively including destination. Opting for four-wheel drive adds and extra $2,880 for the Titan and $3,990 for the larger Titan XD.
A 390-hp 5.6-liter direct injected V-8 paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission is currently the only engine available in the 2017 Titan. Nissan is expected to add a new base V-6 engine for the standard Titan sometime in the future. In the larger Titan XD single cab, an optional 5.0-liter turbodiesel V-8 sourced from Cummins is also offered and it’s rated at 310 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic sourced from Aisin is the only transmission available with the diesel V-8.
The single cab Titan and Titan XD come standard with an eight-foot bed in both the base S and the higher SV trim. Both trim levels of the single cab Titan and Titan XD come standard with Bluetooth connectivity and a rearview camera. In terms of towing capacity, the Titan XD single cab can haul up to 12,640 pounds when properly equipped.
Like the crew cab variants, the single cab Titan and Titan XD will be built in Nissan’s Canton, Mississippi facility. Both trucks are now available at dealers across the U.S.
