Acura has launched the configurator for the new NSX supercar, which lets prospective owners specify everything and make the car uniquely their own. Once you’ve finished configuring your ideal NSX, you can request a consultation with a dealer that’s authorized to sell the NSX to start the ordering process. Additionally, you’ll also be able to share your custom NSX via social media.
Eight color choices are available on the 2017 Acura NSX, with two special Andaro choices that cost $6,000. The cabin can be specified with four color choices, including Ebony, Orchid, Saddle, and Red, while upholstery choices include semi-aniline leather and Alcantara. Additional option packages include the Carbon Fiber Exterior Sport package, which adds a carbon fiber front spoiler, side sills and rear diffuser, and dark chrome exhaust finishers. The Carbon Fiber Interior Sport package, on the other hand, adds a hand-wrapped carbon fiber meter visor and steering wheel garnish, and aluminum sport pedals and footrest. Finally the Technology package adds the ELS premium audio system, a new iteration of the AcuraLink infotainment system with navigation, voice recognition, HD Digital Traffic, front and rear parking sensors, and satellite radio.
Additional standalone options include a carbon fiber roof, carbon fiber engine cover, carbon fiber rear spoiler, and carbon ceramic brakes. There are also interwoven wheels available along with a selection of three brake caliper colors in your choice of red, black, and silver when you select the carbon ceramic brakes.
Acura recently announced a VIP Driving Experience coinciding with Super Bowl 50, and due to overwhelming interest, the automaker will give the winner of a social media sweepstakes an opportunity to join the driving event. Those who share their unique NSX configuration can join the contest with the hashtag #DRiveAcuraNSXContest to get a chance to win.
