Two new 2017 Jeep Renegade models will launch in the next few months, including a blacked-out version and another with a new beige color.
First up is the 2017 Renegade Deserthawk, which will debut at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show featuring an exclusive Mojave Sand paint job. It looks similar to the “Beige Against the Machine” paint used on the sweet Jeep Comanche pickup concept from the 2016 Easter Jeep Safari, but the similarities stop there as the Renegade Deserthawk won’t have a truck bed. Instead, it is based on the Renegade Trailhawk with all-wheel drive and the 180-hp, 2.4-liter Tigershark I-4. If Mojave Sand isn’t your style, the Deserthawk can be had in Alpine White, Anvil, or Black. The Renegade Deserthawk will arrive in showrooms this January with a starting price of $29,135 (including $995 destination).
Next up is the 2017 Renegade Altitude, which includes 18-inch gloss black wheels, black exterior and interior accents, black seats, and the option to pick any exterior paint color. The Renegade Altitude is based on the mid-level Latitude model and can be optioned with the 160-hp, 1.4-liter Multiair turbo-four, the 2.4-liter I-4, and front- or all-wheel drive. Jeep says the Renegade Altitude goes on sale this month with a starting price of $23,385 for a front-drive base model with the 1.4-liter turbo-four and six-speed manual transmission.
