While the Ford Focus RS steals a majority of the limelight, the Ford Fiesta can also shine — especially one that’s altitude testing for its next FIA World Rally Championship race.
U.K.-based M-Sport team and Welsh rally driver Elfyn Evans spent a recent weekend racing a Ford Fiesta WRC 2017 in the Italian Alps.
Snow, ice, and rain did not deter the team and driver from capturing some awesome footage of the little Ford flying around the twisty mountain roads like a bat out of hell.
The French WRC site Worldrally Is Free reports that M-Sport and Evans made several spirited runs near the Col d’Agnel mountain pass in the Cottian Alps, between France and Italy. Snow tires were definitely a must for this icy run.
Despite the cold temperatures and high winds, the crew managed to create a cool video for anyone who may be trapped indoors.
