Earlier this week on Twitter, Faraday Future said it would “unveil the future” at next year’s Consumer Electronics Show. Now, the young EV company has confirmed to Motor Trend that it will indeed use the stage to debut its new production vehicle.
The debut will mark one year since Faraday Future launched its first concept, the FFZero1. The car made its first appearance at this year’s CES, and at the time, the company hadn’t ruled out a small production run of the vehicle. However, based on recent sightings of a mystery vehicle, it looks like Faraday Future will debut an entirely new vehicle for production. A vehicle that looks like a crossover, or perhaps a high-riding sedan, has been seen roaming around in plain sight, and it likely belongs to Faraday Future.
During a press conference earlier this week, the head of Faraday Future’s partner company, LeEco, hinted that such a big reveal was coming at CES, which runs from January 5-8.
Faraday Future has accomplished quite a bit this year. It is prepping its $1 billion EV factory in the Las Vegas area, and earlier this summer, it announced it would partner with Dragon Racing in a bid to compete in season three of the Formula E championship.
